The Khadims (“Priest at the holy shrine”):

The Astana sharife (the holy grave ) of Khwaja ‘s Mazar–e-aqdas always remain under the custody and care of the Khadim community from the very beginning which proves that they are the custodians of the shrine in the true sense of the word .All the religious ceremonies are performed by them at the holy shrine .Their relation with the shrine is not only ancient but intimate , the khadims displayed exemplary loyalty and devotion to the shrine during the communal riots of 1947. when most of the muslim population fled to Pakistan the loyal khadims undaunted by the danger to their lives and property protected the dargah from pillage , plunder and destruction. This is a true evidence of their selfless service and devotion.

History and Genealogical trace:

The khadims of huzoor Khaja gharib nawaz known as syed zadgan trace their descent from Hazrat Khwaja syed Fakhruddin Gurdezi (r a )through his sons Khwaja syed Masood , They serve the mazar e pak as like their ancestors and pray and offer duas form behalf of those who are unable to come to ajmer ., perform religious rituals , have all rights to receive all kings who offer niaz are hereditary and have also been judicially recognized..The documentary evidence are present in the “Malfoozat “ (sayings )Of chishtiyah order and historical literature , Shahi faramin, sanads, (imperial orders ) , Jagirs, honours, and rewards by rulers Also the British Government during their succeeding regimes recognized that they are the real custodians of the shrine .Although the khadims have faced a number of revolutional changes of government, passed various political phases , but they have continued to keep themselves attached to the shrine.

My dear, There is certainly a relief for this domestic and social confusion and the treatment lies among the religious person (Sufis) such as Khwaja Gharib Nawaz (R.A) who have preached the effective and proper way of treatment – living among humans they issued ways of treatment and reformation as preached and directed by Allah So brother I Khadim of Huzoor Gharib Nawaz (R.A) will suggest you to follow the message and mission of Gharib Nawaz (R.A) and if possible visit this holy shrine and spend few days over here . Inshallah with this Allah’s Wallie will give you new Strength, Power, Courage to conquer both the worlds or keep in touch with me, So that I may give you a helping hand in future ,inshallah you will see that you have achieved divine Wealth of Love, Blessings, Belife, Confidence, Peace of Mind and soul ( AMEN YA RAHIM ).
